Today, I came across a new type of Fiverr scam that every freelancer should know about.
A person messaged me, saying they wanted to place an order for my gig. Later, they sent me a screenshot showing a fake Fiverr payment page, claiming that Fiverr was asking for my email to confirm the order because I was an “unverified seller.”

⚠️ Please remember:
Fiverr never asks for your email address or any personal information to process orders.
All payments and orders happen only inside the Fiverr platform — there’s no such thing as “enter seller’s email to complete payment.”
💡 If someone sends you such screenshots or asks for your email:
- Don’t share your email or any contact info.
- Don’t click or trust any external links or images.
- Report the account immediately to Fiverr Support.
Scammers are getting creative — but so can we. Always double-check before trusting anything outside the official Fiverr system. Stay safe, freelancers! 💪
